Craig’s team did a great job on canopy removal and tree trimming in our backyard. Craig himself is an arborist and licensed professional. He knew everything about each tree and even told us to hold off on some trimming because it would be for the best health of the tree. Highly recommend his services.

From first contact, they have been extremely responsive. The price quoted was terrific - much better than the other quotes I received. The day of removal they were on time, worked very efficiently, and 8 hours later the tree was gone, the stump had been ground down, the yard raked, and they were on their way. They even reinstalled my bird feeders. Absolutely terrific company.

Craig at S&P Tree Care was referred to me by another certified arborist and I couldn't be happier. He came by when he said he would, he provided a detailed assessment of the trees, knowledgeably answered all my questions, and his price for the work that I ended up deciding on came in at the low end of the other quotes. He was available to start within a reasonable period of time, and walked me through the logistics of how he would access the property with the equipment. I signed him up for the work immediately.

I highly recommend S & P Tree Care for tree pruning and removal. Craig Sullivan, owner, is a certified arborist and the company is licensed and insured. He just completed the removal of our chestnut oak that was over 90 feet tall, with a trunk base diameter of 6 feet. His price was competitive and his attention to the job was stellar. He explained the need for removal, teaching me about all the signs of its distress. He was patient with my calls and questions. He was here early to greet the crane and the crew. He remained on site to supervise and pitch in when needed. What could have been a nerve racking experience turned out to be an entertaining half day – watching 10,000 pound sections of tree glide through the air between the wires and brought to the ground without a thump was quite a spectacle. His recommendation to remove the tree was further validated when we saw that the bottom section of the trunk was completely hollow. There was actually nothing supporting this huge tree!

This tree appeared to be healthy last summer. This spring several major branches didn’t leaf out and appeared dead. Dick and I are so relieved that we took care of this major threat to our home.
Craig was very knowledgeable and professional from the initial contact. He came out on time and provided an objective assessment. He wasn’t out to take advantage of a situation that needed immediate attention. On the day of the job, his crew did good work, and removed the fallen tree. Their pruning work was also very neat and the yard was restored in the way they found it.

Craig came out and performed the estimate. Craig was very friendly and professional, and his estimates have been accurate the two times I’ve hired S&P. The team came out when they said they would, and had me guide them around my property to verify the work to be done. They were all also professional and friendly. Within an hour, the work was done, I paid, and they were off to their next project. As I said earlier, I’ve used these guys twice, once for a much larger job and this time for a smaller one, and I fully intend on calling them again when I need help with my trees.

We moved into our house a few months ago and were not aware that we had some sick and dangerous trees on our property. We never expected to have to budget for tree removal and there is some sticker shock associated with this process but it’s not a do-it-yourself project. So my husband and I began searching for tree removal/trimming services and found S&P and they were great! Craig was super responsive from my first inquiry and with all necessary follow-up. He gave a very competitive quote and I knew from the moment he came out to check out what work needed done that we would hire him. He was super personable and it’s nice working with just one person from start to finish. He was also honest about what needed done and what could wait and was great in offering some advice and groups that could save some of our existing trees.

It was quite a team that came out to do the work. They climbed the trees to remove the branches and had a very efficient system in taking down and tidying up. Other S&P folks came out to cart away the debris and grind the stump. It worked very well and by the time everything was done, they left the area as clean as the found it just without the tree and dead branches. Very professional.
Craig also stopped by to check on the progress a couple times and I definitely appreciated that. We have future tree trimming/removal plans and we will definitely use S&P again. They did great work and offered a very fair price. Super happy customer!

Craig Sullivan did AMAZING work! I came home to find the tree pruned to PERFECTION as the branches were way too long and hitting my house and the folks who lived on either side of me. Craig raised the canopy and properly pruned all branches to where I do not have to worry about pruning again for a long while. Craig’s rates are UNBEATABLE! Two other vendors came in at above $550 and $750 – more than twice what I paid. Craig’s very responsive and great to deal with – very professional and personable. The best you can hope for when you need work done.
